The foolish will shame the wise…

1 Corinthians 1:26-29 (NLT)
Remember, dear brothers and sisters, that few of you were wise in the world’s eyes or powerful or wealthy when God called you. Instead, God chose things the world considers foolish in order to shame those who think they are wise. And he chose things that are powerless to shame those who are powerful. God chose things despised by the world, things counted as nothing at all, and used them to bring to nothing what the world considers important. As a result, no one can ever boast in the presence of God.

God called me when I was drug addicted and homeless. God used me even before I had surrendered. How amazing is that?

  1. I also was one one of the biggest sinners ever. He is using my past now, for my strength and testimony. I also have been drug addicted, alcoholic, needy for love, married too many times because I knew deep down living in sin was something I did not want to do. I was still that way I know now because of being born again. Some of us have to be broken beyond we can ever imagine to be his. I am diagnosed bipolar1 with post traumatic stress. He does deal with even that. I still have moments when I know I am not cured, but with him I believe I will remain stable and with the meds I have to take. Some people tell me someday still here I won’t need them. I know that’s not now because I have triggers that set me off. Mostly it is because I can’t take cussing and have to hear it daily. I can’t always get out. If I plug my ears, I am ignoring the person. She does scoff at my music (Christian and talking about the Lord) I am stuck, for now she doesn’t see. I am still married now but, live oceans from my husband who also rejects my faith through grace.

  2. We serve an amazing God!
